Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking an Associate Field Service Technician to maintain retail store technologies and POS equipment, with extensive travel across the US. You will diagnose, repair, and install equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely service delivery.

Requires a High School Diploma and 2+ years in electronics, plus ability to travel 100% and work with basic tools and testing equipment. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2+ years’ experience in an Electronics field.
• Must be able to travel 100% of the time, domestic and/or air travel may be necessary for installations or service.
• Knowledge of personal computer technology, network infra, POS equipment and related retail devices.
• Mechanical aptitude with competency in electricity/electronics; ability to use test equipment and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate in assigned territory performing basic repairs and services on products.
• Travel within territory or nationally to customer locations for installations or upgrades.
• Communicate status, seek assistance when needed, and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Plan and schedule work to meet service level objectives; arrange travel with company tools.
• Document installation activities in Toshiba systems and maintain trunk stock.
