Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking an Associate Field Service Technician to install, service, and repair retail store technologies and POS equipment at customer locations across the US. The role requires extensive travel and the ability to diagnose issues, perform exchanges, and coordinate with store management.

With a High School Diploma and electronics experience, you will work under supervision until capable of unsupervised performance, documenting all activities and maintaining

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2+ years' experience in an Electronics field.
• Must be able to travel 100% of the time; air travel may be necessary.
• Knowledge of personal computer technology, networks, flat panel TVs/monitors, cash registers/POS equipment, and related retail devices.
• Mechanical/electronic aptitude; able to use test equipment and meters.

Responsibilities

• Operates in assigned territory and performs basic repairs and services on products, including diagnostics and repair.
• Travel to customer locations to install, relocate, or upgrade POS equipment.
• Communicate status and coordinate with customers and team members to satisfy service commitments.
• Document service events per Toshiba standards using approved systems and reports.
• Maintain trunk stock to support all customers.
