Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, and service retail store technologies and computer systems across diverse client sites. You will diagnose problems, perform component swaps, and coordinate with store personnel to minimize downtime.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma with 4+ years of related experience, IT/Technical degree or certificate preferred.
• Must be able to travel 100% of the time, domestic and/or air travel.
• Operates knowledge of PC technology, network infrastructure, cash registers / POS equipment, and related retail devices.
• Mechanical aptitude with competency in electricity & electronics; able to use test equipment and basic hand tools.

Aufgaben

• Performs repairs and services on products in assigned territory; installs equipment at new or remodeled sites.
• Travels nationally to customer locations for installations, relocations, and upgrades.
• Communicates status, risks, and customer satisfaction to management and customers; adheres to Toshiba service delivery methodology.
• Plans and schedules work; coordinates travel; may work varying shifts including overtime/weekends.
