Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service and repair Toshiba and non-TOSHIBA retail systems across client sites. You will diagnose equipment, perform on-site repairs, and maintain store technology in retail and SMB environments.

This role requires 100% travel, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced settings. 4+ years of related experience and a technical mindset are expected, with physical ability for lifting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4+ years of related experience.
• Must travel 100% of the time domestically and/or by air.
• Operates knowledge of PC technology, network infrastructure, flat panel TVs & monitors, cash registers/point-of-sale equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude with competency in electricity & electronics and ability to use test equipment.
• Follow written or spoken directions and provide clear information.
• Good customer service skills and ability to communicate with customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair retail POS equipment at client sites.
• Travel within territory or nationwide for installations, relocations, or upgrades.
• Document activities per Toshiba standards using automated systems.
• Maintain trunk stock to support customers.
