Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking an Associate Field Service Technician to service retail store technologies and POS equipment across the territory. The role involves installation, repair, and on-site diagnostics, with extensive travel and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma with 2+ years in electronics, strong PC knowledge, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2+ years' experience in an Electronics field.
• Must be able to travel 100% of the time, domestic and/or air travel.
• Possesses basic knowledge of PC technology, network infra, POS devices and related retail tech.
• Mechanical aptitude with competency in electricity/electronics and testing equipment.
• Ability to follow written or spoken directions and communicate clearly.
• Good customer service, multitasking and independent work ability.
• Strong written and oral communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Operates in assigned territory and performs basic repairs and services on products using standard maintenance packages and tools.
• Travel to customer locations for installations, relocations, or upgrades of retail POS equipment.
• Communicates status, issues, and customer satisfaction to management and team.
• Manages service events to meet commitments and minimize business disruption.
• Plans, prioritizes, and schedules work; may require overtime and weekend shifts.
• Documents installation activities in accordance with Toshiba standards.
• Maintains trunk stock to support customers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
