Job summary

Rivian is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Associate Retail Manager to lead daily operations, customer experience, and team performance at our Nashville location. You will drive revenue, manage KPIs, and uphold Rivian’s culture and values while guiding a local field team through a high-growth environment.

You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory, educate customers, and execute activations that raise brand awareness and conversion.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in Sales, Retail, Hospitality or similar fields highly preferred
• At least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent credential required
• 1+ years experience in leadership preferred with ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays; travel up to 25%
• Extensive experience with P&L, POS and CRM software
• HR experience including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, payroll, and performance management preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to obtain license in new state within 60 days
• No disqualifying driving incidents in past 3 years; MVR monitoring apply
• Ability to obtain and maintain local sales licenses, if applicable

Responsibilities

• Execute strategies to support revenue targets and market share growth
• Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate team performance
• Provide leadership to the local field team to cultivate high performance
• Communicate goals and tie them to site, market and org-wide targets
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align customer needs with inventory
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through knowledge, education and conversion support
• Implement and enforce SOPs to standardize customer and employee experience
• Seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Monitor local market trends and report on business dynamics
• Promote Rivian culture and values across teams and customers
• Collaborate with Retail Manager to meet goals and drive process improvements
• Plan activations and events with cross-functional partners to boost brand awareness and traffic
• Lead processes that move customers through the funnel using platforms and tools
• Support new site openings and special events as needed
• Uphold site operations for front and back of house
• Perform keyholder duties and daily business recaps
• Manage day-to-day operations, back-of-house upkeep, shipping/receiving, space upkeep and displays
• Ensure compliance with local/state/federal regulations and Rivian policies
• Take on additional projects as required by commercial leadership
