Job summary

Michaels Stores in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a team member to deliver friendly customer service and help customers locate products. You will ensure fast checkout, process cash handling, and enroll customers in rewards programs.

You’ll participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store. The role requires standing for long periods, the ability to move around the store, and physical duties such as lifting and bending.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enroll in Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and participate in omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, planograms, and store recovery to stay in-stock.
