Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a role focused on training and developing Product Sales Specialists to ensure customers have a positive shopping experience with expert product information.

The position emphasizes leading by example, completing product certifications, and driving the basic P’s of retail—People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing—while maintaining strong merchandising and pricing standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure a highly attentive and accurate level of customer service.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of merchandise and installation.
• Ensure the overall merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
• Communicate SOP direction to all associates in a timely manner.
• Complete the Industrial Truck (forklift) proficiency testing and certification.
• Presenting “how-to” classes to customers.
• Process customers at check-out and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Stock and tag merchandise displays and create price tags.
