Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. in Sugar Land, TX, is seeking a Training Specialist for Product Sales.

This role focuses on developing Product Sales Specialists and ensuring customers receive exceptional service and accurate product information. You will lead training, certify staff, and reinforce the company philosophy of the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service or sales experience, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act in accordance with the company’s core values.
• Demonstrate safe lifting practices and SOP compliance.
• Drive and teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists for attentive customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Understand merchandise and installation, and manage department merchandising and pricing.
• Communicate SOP directions and changes to associates promptly.
• Operate forklift certification processes as required.
• Communicate inventory needs to management.
• Assist with showroom processing and product placement validation.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and help with product selections.
• Process checkouts, refunds, and exchanges per guidelines.
• Present how-to classes to customers.
