Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a trainer for Product Sales Specialists to enhance customer service and product knowledge across the department. The role focuses on developing staff, ensuring accurate pricing and merchandising, and delivering a positive shopping experience in-store.

You will lead certification courses, uphold safety procedures, and coach associates on the basic P’s of retail, while greeting customers and assisting with product selections and checkout processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act and work in a manner consistent with company values.
• Demonstrate understanding of safe lifting SOPs.
• Teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists for high-quality customer service.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Ensure merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions and selections.
• Process customers at checkout using the POS system.
