Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Training Lead to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers receive outstanding service and knowledgeable product guidance.

The role emphasizes coaching, certification completion, and maintaining high standards of presentation and pricing across the department, with a focus on safe operations and efficient store performance. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

• Act and work in a manner that is consistent with company’s core values.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding and compliance with safe lifting procedures.
• Teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to all product sales specialists to ensure attentive and accurate customer service.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Understand merchandise and installation.
• Ensure merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
• Communicate SOP direction and changes to associates promptly.
• Complete forklift proficiency testing and certification.
• Communicate inventory needs to management.
• Direct and assist processing of merchandise to showroom floor.
• Validate product placement and pricing within the department.
• Greet customers courteously.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges per guidelines.
• Present ‘how-to’ classes to customers.
• Follow cash, check and card acceptance procedures.
• Answer the telephone per guidelines.
• Stock and tag merchandise displays as required.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
