Job summary

Floor & Decor is hiring to train and develop Product Sales Specialists, ensuring customers receive exceptional service and accurate product information. The role focuses on directing staff, certifying product knowledge, and maintaining strong merchandising and pricing standards.

You will lead training initiatives, demonstrate product and installation expertise, and help customers with questions and selections while upholding company values daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act according to company values and standards.
• Follow safe lifting SOPs and safety procedures.
• Drive and teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure attentive customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Demonstrate understanding of merchandise and installation.
• Ensure merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
• Communicate SOPs and changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Complete forklift proficiency testing and certification.
• Communicate inventory needs to management.
• Direct and assist merchandise processing to showroom floor.
• Validate product placement and pricing within the department.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions and selections.
