Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Training Lead to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers have a positive shopping experience by providing exceptional service and accurate product information.

You will deliver training, monitor certification courses, and reinforce the company’s basic P's of retail—People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion. This role requires strong communication and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a courteous manner and assist with product questions.
• Process checkout using POS system and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Direct and assist with merchandise placement, pricing, and show room flow.
• Complete product specialist certification courses and maintain knowledge of merchandise.
• Communicate SOP changes to associates in a timely manner.
