Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a dedicated Training and Development Lead to coach Product Sales Specialists and enhance the in-store customer experience. You will ensure staff understand product information, assist shoppers with questions, and deliver outstanding service across key departments.

The role requires the ability to work in a busy retail environment, manage multiple tasks, and participate in certification programs to keep the team up-to-date on merchandise and installation processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act in a manner consistent with Floor & Decor’s core values.
• Demonstrate understanding of the basic P’s of retail (People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing).
• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure high levels of customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses and stay knowledgeable about merchandise and installation.
