Ashley Furniture in Cordova, TN is hiring a Customer Service Representative to be the front-line ambassador, delivering exceptional service and assisting with store operations. You will greet customers, process sales orders, manage customer accounts, and support audits and daily reporting.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of customer service or admin experience, are legal to work in the US, and can work flexible shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• minimum 1 year of customer service, office or administrative experience preferred
• knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions
• able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays; including rotation for opening/closing

Responsibilities

• Front Desk & Customer Service: greet customers warmly and professionally in-person, on phone, and by email
• Sales Order Support: assist with processing sales orders accurately with necessary approvals
• Customer Account Management: process credit applications, assist with financing, maintain customer accounts
• Cash Handling & Financial Procedures: follow cash handling procedures, process payments, reconcile transactions under supervision
• Customer Issue Resolution: address inquiries and concerns professionally and escalate when needed
• Audit & Compliance Assistance: support audits, inventory processes, and paperwork verification
• Reporting & Documentation: maintain records, prepare routine reports, file paperwork
• Team Collaboration: work with sales, merchandising, and store associates for a seamless experience
• Technology & Systems: use POS, retail management software, MS Office and other tools
