Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative to act as the front-line ambassador for our stores, delivering exceptional service and supporting store operations.

You will greet customers, process orders, manage accounts and financing, handle cash, and collaborate with sales and merchandising teams to ensure a smooth shopping experience. The role includes adapting to weekend and holiday shifts and upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions.
• 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a warm, professional manner and represent Ashley’s brand image.
• Process sales orders accurately and obtain required approvals.
• Manage customer credit applications and financing arrangements.
• Handle cash and reconcile transactions under supervision.
• Address customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to Management.
• Support audits, inventory processes, and paperwork accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records and routine reports for store operations.
• Collaborate with sales, merchandising, and store associates to ensure a seamless experience.
• Utilize POS systems and office software to perform duties efficiently.
• Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management.
