Job summary

Michaels in Shiloh, IL is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure fast checkout with accurate cash handling. You’ll help with truck unloading, stocking, merchandising, and supporting BOPIS/SFS processes to keep the store well stocked and inviting.

Qualifications include retail or customer service experience. The role involves standing for long periods, moving around the store, and working nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to provide fast, friendly checkout experience and handle cash accurately.
• Knowledge of BOPIS/SFS and omnichannel processes is a plus.
• Familiarity with shelving, planograms, and merchandise recovery.
• Cross training in Custom Framing sales and production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS) and store operations.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) activities.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and complete merchandise recovery as needed.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
