Job summary

Michaels in Mount Prospect, IL is seeking a customer-focused team member to assist shoppers, load and stock merchandise, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will also help enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Card programs, support BOPIS and Ship From Store, and participate in truck unloading and shelf replenishment.

The role requires ability to stand long hours, lift heavy boxes, and work nights, weekends, and early mornings as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods, move around the store, and lift heavy boxes.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Card programs.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram execution.
• Maintain in-stock store and perform merchandise recovery.
