Job summary

Michaels in Glenview, IL is looking for a Store Team Member who delivers friendly customer service, helps shoppers find items, and handles a fast checkout. You will also unload trucks, stock products, and maintain planograms to keep the store well merchandised.

The role includes assisting with omnichannel processes such as BOPIS and SFS, engaging customers in the Rewards program, and following SOPs to ensure safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise standards to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Support Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Engage customers with the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; project a positive image and be a role model.
