Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store Team Member at Edwardsville, IL. You will deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and process checkouts while supporting store recovery and stocking tasks.

The role involves unloading trucks, maintaining in-stock shelves, and engaging customers in Rewards programs. Shifts include nights and weekends, with comprehensive benefits for eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Work hours include nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain in-stock store and merchandise recovery; complete returns/go back processing.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
