Job summary

Michaels is seeking team members for its Durham, NC store to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. Team Members unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain recovery standards to uphold our brand promises.

Responsibilities include driving in-store and online support, participating in BOPIS/SFS processes, and promoting the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards. Training in framing and production is available.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Must be at least 16 years old in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise return/go back processes to keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully and be a role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
