Job summary

Michaels Stores in Wilmington, NC seeks a store team member to assist customers, stock merchandise, and operate checkout duties. You will help shoppers find products, explain rewards and credit enrollments, and participate in omnichannel processes such as BOPIS and Ship From Store.

This role requires standing for long periods and a positive, service-oriented attitude. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, merchandising, and maintaining store recovery.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) duties
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance; manage returns and go-backs
• Support Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Assist shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs
