Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Brandon, FL to greet customers, process orders, and support store operations. You will handle credit applications, maintain accounts, and assist with financial procedures under the supervision of the Office Manager.

The role requires reliable, team-oriented individuals who can work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Knowledge of MS Office and POS systems is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions.
• 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience, preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; including rotation for store opening and closing responsibilities–various shifts.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk & Customer Service: Greet all customers in a warm, professional manner representing Ashley's brand image.
• Sales Order Support: Process sales orders accurately and ensure proper approvals are obtained before finalizing transactions.
• Customer Account Management: Process customer credit applications and maintain accurate account information in retail management systems.
• Cash Handling & Financial Procedures: Follow cash handling procedures, process payments, and reconcile transactions under supervision.
• Customer Issue Resolution: Address inquiries and escalate complex issues to Management as appropriate.
• Audit & Compliance Assistance: Support audits and inventory processes, gathering documentation and verifying paperwork.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records and prepare routine reports.
• Team Collaboration: Work with sales, merchandising, and store associates for seamless operations.
• Technology & Systems: Use POS systems, retail software and MS Office to perform duties.
