Ashley Furniture in Meridian, Idaho, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet customers, assist with store operations, and deliver exceptional service. You will be the first point of contact and support front desk activities, billing, and order processing in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy in cash handling, customer data, and collaboration with sales and merchandising teams.

Qualifications

Legally authorized to work in the US.
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic system transactions.
At least 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Team player with ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide outstanding front desk and in-person/phone/email service.
Process sales orders accurately and obtain required approvals.
Manage customer credit applications and update account information.
Handle cash and reconcile transactions per policy.
Address customer inquiries and escalate complex issues.
Assist with audits, inventory, and paperwork accuracy.
Prepare routine reports and file sales and office documents.
Collaborate with sales, merchandising, and store staff.
Operate POS and MS Office tools efficiently.
Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
