Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as the front-line ambassador for our brand. You will greet customers, process sales orders, and manage accounts with a focus on accurate documentation and friendly service.

You will assist with financing, handle cash procedures under supervision, and collaborate with store teams to ensure a positive, seamless shopping experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions.
• 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience, preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; rotation for store opening and closing responsibilities.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Front desk and customer service: greet customers warmly in person, by phone and email.
• Sales order support: process orders accurately with required documentation and approvals.
• Customer account management: handle credit applications and financing, maintain records.
• Cash handling & financial procedures: follow cash policies and reconcile transactions.
• Customer issue resolution: address inquiries and escalate to management when needed.
• Audit & compliance assistance: support audits and inventory processes with proper paperwork.
• Reporting & documentation: maintain records and prepare routine sales/office reports.
• Team collaboration: work with sales, merchandising and staff for smooth operations.
• Technology & systems: use POS, retail software and MS Office to perform tasks.
