Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Team Member in Stafford, VA to help customers, process transactions, and support stock, framing, and store operations. You will engage customers in rewards programs and assist with Omni channel duties, ensuring a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

Role requires ability to stand for long periods, lift and move items, and maintain a positive attitude while upholding SOPs and safety standards. All team members receive discounts and benefit options where eligible.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process and store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; ensure compliance.
• Interact respectfully; be a role model for Team Members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned.
