Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a customer-focused team member to assist customers, stock shelves, and maintain a well-merchandised store. Duties include checkout, inventory, and participation in store programs.

Responsibilities include helping with BOPIS/SFS, enrollments in rewards programs, and upholding SOPs while cross-training in framing sales and production. The role requires standing for long periods and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to provide fast, friendly checkout and accurate cash handling.
• Omni-channel awareness for in-store pickup and ship-from-store processes.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain merchandise recovery and the go back/return process for a well-merchandised store.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; represent the brand with professionalism.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
