Job summary

Michaels in Christiansburg, VA is seeking a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You’ll handle stocking, truck unloading, and merchandising duties to keep the store in-stock and well-presented.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling to standards.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance; in-stock and go-back processes
• Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; act as a role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
