Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member to assist customers, process transactions and keep the sales floor well-stocked. You will help shoppers locate products, enroll customers in rewards programs, and support omnichannel services such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

The role requires energy for standing long periods, ability to lift and move merchandise, and commitment to store recovery, safety, and SOP adherence while delivering friendly service to every guest.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram (POG) duties.
• Handle merchandise return/go back and store recovery activities.
• Carry out Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; project a positive image.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
