Job summary

S&G Stores in Findlay, OH, is seeking a dedicated role to directly support the store manager and help ensure efficient operations while complying with laws and policies.

You will lead customer service, greet customers, oversee merchandising, rotate foodservice products, and process transactions with integrity. This role requires physical stamina and availability for weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
• Stand for an entire shift.
• Ability to periodically handle routine physical tasks such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling.
• Available to work weekends, evenings, and busy periods/holidays.
• Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures in store, outside, and in cooler.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service leadership to all customers.
• Acknowledge and greet all customers that come into the store.
• Ensure that all company policies are being followed.
• Promote and maintain a clean and organized store appearance inside and out.
• Efficiently process both cash and card transactions with integrity.
• Ensure merchandising and marketing programs are implemented properly, including plan-o-gram integrity and sign placement.
• Ensure foodservice products are fresh and appealing by rotating products appropriately and removing out-of-date products.
• Monitor store activities to ensure that transactions are taking place properly.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies for the safety and security of customers and employees and notifying the appropriate individuals.
