Job summary

S&G Stores is seeking a store support role to help the store run smoothly and lawfully. You will assist the store manager, maximize sales, and protect assets while ensuring an engaging customer experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, maintaining plan-o-gram integrity, and stocking merchandise. The position requires standing, frequent lifting, and flexibility across shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is required.
• Able to frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for an entire shift and perform routine physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service leadership to all customers.
• Acknowledge and greet all customers entering the store.
• Ensure company policies are followed.
• Promote and maintain a clean, organized store appearance inside and out.
• Efficiently process cash and card transactions with integrity.
• Implement merchandising and marketing programs, maintain plan-o-gram integrity and sign placement.
• Keep foodservice products fresh and appealing by rotating and removing out-of-date items.
• Monitor store activities to ensure proper transactions.
• Respond quickly to emergencies to ensure safety of customers and employees.
• Unload trucks for restocking.
