Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a front-end supervisor at our Boone, NC location to promote an excellent customer experience and lead a team of Associates on the sales floor.

You will model outstanding service, train staff, and support loyalty and credit programs while ensuring store standards and safety. You will schedule and coordinate POS coverage, mentor colleagues, and resolve customer concerns promptly, contributing to a positive, fast-paced retail environment with flexible hours

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations
• Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
• Able to train others

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front end principles
• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs
• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
