Ashley Furniture is seeking a Customer Service Representative to act as the front-line ambassador for our stores. You will deliver exceptional service across in-person, phone, and email interactions while supporting store operations.

You will process sales orders, manage customer accounts, assist with financing, and handle cash with accuracy. The role requires teamwork, flexible hours, and a focus on accurate records and compliance.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide warm, professional service at the front desk and via phone/email.
• Process sales orders accurately and ensure documentation and approvals.
• Manage customer accounts and assist with credit applications and financing arrangements.
• Handle cash and process payments following company procedures.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues, escalating when needed.
• Assist with audits, inventory, and documentation to support store operations.
• Maintain accurate records and routine reports for sales and office processes.
• Collaborate with sales, merchandising, and other store staff to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Utilize POS systems and retail software to perform tasks efficiently.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by management.
