Job summary

Micro Center is seeking self-motivated Retail Computer Technicians in Brentwood, MO. The role starts at $15/hour with productivity incentives to raise hourly rates up to $18–$35 plus SPIFFs.

You will assist customers at the service counter and in-store shop, diagnosing and repairing devices while providing timely updates on repair status. Qualifications include a High School diploma (or equivalent) and preferred CompTIA A+ or Apple ACMT/ACiT certifications, with expected on-the-job trainings to

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CompTIA A+ certification or Apple ACMT/ACiT certifications desired; ability to certify within 90 days.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask and adjust priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person consultations and troubleshooting at the service counter for computers and related products.
• Recommend service solutions including data backups, antivirus, warranties, and subscriptions.
• Identify, diagnose, and document hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, mobiles, and displays.
• Assemble custom computers for the BYO sales team.
• Maintain certifications and stay updated on products and technologies.
• Handle cash, transactions, and keep a clean, organized work area with accurate inventory.
