Job summary

Michaels Stores in Worcester, MA seeks a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure smooth checkout experiences. You will engage customers in rewards programs, support BOPIS and Ship From Store, and contribute to keeping the store well-stocked and visually appealing.

The role involves unloading trucks, stocking, following SOPs, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for teammates and customers alike.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with standard cash handling.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) surveys.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain in-stock store through merchandise recovery and shelving.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
