Job summary

Michaels Stores in Sturbridge, MA is hiring for a store associate responsible for assisting customers, operating checkout lanes, and helping manage inventory and in-store processes. You’ll engage customers in-store, enroll them in rewards programs, and support omni-channel services such as BOPIS and SFS.

The role involves standing for long periods, unloading trucks, stocking, and following SOPs while delivering a positive shopping experience to all customers.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and private label credit cards and enroll them
• Assist with omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise return/go back processes to keep store in-stock
• Support store in stock optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Assist with shrink and safety programs
