Michaels is hiring at the Amherst store to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and provide quick checkout. You will engage customers in the Rewards program, aid Buy Online Pickup in Store, and assist with omnichannel processes while maintaining a well-stocked, in‑stock store.

The role includes truck unloading, stocking, planograms, merchandise recovery, and adherence to SOPs. Cross training in Custom Framing is available, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and general store recovery tasks.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; project a positive image.
• Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production.
