Job summary

The Michaels Companies West Springfield, MA store is seeking a friendly store associate to help customers find items, process quick and accurate checkouts, and support store operations. You will engage shoppers, explain rewards programs, and participate in unloading trucks and stocking activities.

Additional duties include assisting with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, maintaining planograms, and following safety and SOP guidelines to ensure a well-merchandised, in-stock store

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash transactions
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS)
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance
• Complete merchandise recovery and store recovery tasks
• Support SISO and AD set duties
• Assist shrink and safety programs
• Follow SOPs and company policies
• Interact with customers in a respectful manner and promote company values
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling/production
• Other duties as assigned
