Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking an enthusiastic Store Associate to assist customers, stock shelves, and support omni-channel services in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help customers find products, participate in inventory tasks, and contribute to a positive store experience.

The role requires strong customer service, flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early shifts, and the ability to perform physical duties such as unloading trucks and lifting.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Able to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and move about the store

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards
• Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Assist with Omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) duties
• Support store recovery and merchandise in-stock, returns, and go-back process
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
