Job summary

The Michaels Companies is looking for a store associate to provide friendly customer service while helping shoppers locate products and complete purchases in a fast, accurate checkout process. The role involves unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and supporting omnichannel tasks such as BOPIS and Ship From Store.

You’ll engage customers about rewards and private label credit cards and help uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders or reach high shelves as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Assist with truck unload and merchandise duties to keep the floor stocked.
• Engage customers about Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Support Omni-channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS).
• Participate in stock, planogram (POG) and recovery tasks to keep the store well-merchandised.
