Big Lots is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve. As a Big Lots Assistant Manager/Key Carrier you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers and supporting the Store Manager with the overall operation of the store to achieve company deliverables.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical store tasks.
• Willingness to work a flexible, part-time schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Retirement plans available.

Responsabilités

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members.
• Support Store Manager with daily store operations.
• Open and close procedures when Store Manager is absent.
• Protect store assets, including cash.
• Maintain customer service and store standards.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Direct hourly team members in Store Manager's absence.
• Assist with freight flow, merchandise receiving and stocking.
• Meet productivity standards and plan directives.
