Job summary

Fanatics is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for the Atlanta Hawks Team Store to support store operations, drive sales, and lead the team on busy game days. You will coach staff, maintain merchandising standards, and ensure an exceptional fan experience.

The role requires retail leadership experience, proficiency with Fanatics systems, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including game days.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail supervisory or leadership experience, including at least 1 year in a role with direct scheduling or Manager on Duty responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and coach a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing setting.
• Proficiency with Fanatics and retail systems (POS, OpSuite, My Playbook, ServiceNow, OKTA).
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, including inventory and loss prevention basics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional presence.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, game days, and special events.
• Reliable attendance and ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily store operations and merchandising standards.
• Lead and develop the on-floor team, provide coaching and feedback, and mentor staff.
• Oversee scheduling and shift coverage; act as Manager on Duty as needed.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, loss prevention, and adherence to policies.
