You will build a strong talent pipeline, ensure onboarding and development, and implement process improvements that strengthen customer service and store results.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• A passion to provide industry leading service.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members in a way that provides clear and precise direction.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use that information to make informed decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead an organization that practices working safely at all times.
• Demonstrates proactive/creative thinking and applies it to the business.
• A thorough understanding of seasonal and diverse merchandising which leads to meeting the needs of our customers/community and gaining sales and market share.
• A strong business acumen.
• An innovative attitude to help Meijer set the industry standard.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where all team members and vendors feel valued and supported.

Aufgaben

• Engages with team members in span of care to ensure onboarding, training and development, and coaching and feedback to be successful in all they do.
• Identifies talent and engages in career discussions to support staffing and leadership pipelines.
• Involvement in candid discussions with team members to ensure Meijer standards are upheld and growth opportunities.
• Accountability for area operations and financial results by overseeing the execution of corporate plans to maximize sales and productivity.
• Drives safety and compliance throughout the store and manages overall condition.
• Ensures Leads and Team Leaders provide guidance and assign daily work and training needs.
• This job profile may include other duties as assigned or required.
