Meijer is seeking an Area Leader to drive engagement and performance for a span of care within the store. You will lead Leads and Team Leaders, oversee operations and financial results, and ensure safety, scheduling, and forecasting align with corporate plans.

You will onboard and develop team members, identify talent, and foster a culture that upholds Meijer standards while pursuing continuous improvements and exceptional service for customers and communities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members with clear direction.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions.
• Commitment to safety and working standards across the organization.
• Understanding of seasonal and diverse merchandising to meet customer needs.

Responsabilidades

• Engage with team members to ensure onboarding, training, development, and coaching.
• Identify talent and support staffing strategies for diverse leadership roles.
• Hold candid discussions to uphold Meijer standards and growth opportunities.
• Oversee area operations and financial results, managing budgets and P&L implications.
• Drive safety, compliance, and overall store condition management.
• Guide Team Leaders and Leads in assigning daily work and training needs.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
