Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree and 10+ years in services, solutions, sales, or business development.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving deal strategy in complex environments.
• Strong proposal development, negotiation, and stakeholder education skills.

Responsibilities

• Nurture client relationships across extended deal cycles and bolster credibility through education and persuasion.
• Position the organization early in deals to influence strategy and shape requirements, potentially leading to sole-source engagements.
• Direct virtual teams across geographic areas to drive business development and provide regular growth updates.
• Develop and champion compelling rationales for services to secure engagements through analysis and presentation.
• Educate stakeholders and craft cohesive RFP/RFI responses communicating viable business solutions.
• Develop pursuit strategies to guide account teams through long sales cycles and optimize resource use.
• Evaluate opportunities and qualify for active pursuit based on probability and resource allocation.
• Contribute ideas and lead large cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems.
• Act as a functional manager within the area of expertise and set direction.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff to ensure achievement of strategic plans.
