Job summary

McDonald's Restaurants Limited is seeking an Operations Technology Professional (OTP) Pro to support the development and execution of in-restaurant technology, ensuring equipment runs at peak performance for customers and crew. You will deploy, maintain, and repair restaurant technology across Louisiana and Mississippi, leading a team of OTPs and coordinating upgrades and training.

The role requires strong communication, meticulous attention to detail, and flexibility for off-hours work.

Qualifications

• Responsible with good attention to detail and strong time management skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technology issues, outcomes, needs and costs.
• Self-motivated with a thirst for knowledge.
• Flexible availability as some upgrades or equipment replacements must be completed during late evenings or early mornings. Weekend availability and on-call availability may be needed on occasion.
• Ability to travel to restaurants located in Louisiana & Mississippi.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be 18 years old to apply.

Responsibilities

• Upgrades: Perform certain self-installs and OS upgrades
• Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality and performance of equipment
• Troubleshooting: Provide in house technology support to triage issues on-site and over the phone
• Development: Train, develop and lead an organization of OTPs for restaurant-level support.
• Training: Provide necessary resources, tools and support as new technologies and initiatives are deployed
