Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking an Operations Technology Person (OTP) to repair and maintain technology in 21 restaurants. The role includes troubleshooting POS issues, supporting new technologies, and performing scheduled maintenance. You will also manage accounts and ensure cable organization.

Flexibility for late evenings or early mornings is required, with on-site or phone troubleshooting. Must be 18+, have transportation, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds; weekend work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have transportation to visit 21 restaurants.
• Previous experience as a Restaurant OTP is required.
• Weekend work may be required occasionally.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible availability for late evenings or early mornings.
• Must be available to troubleshoot on-site or over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain technology equipment in 21 McDonald’s restaurants.
• Troubleshoot POS technology issues.
• Provide resources, tools, and support for new technologies and initiatives.
• Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal functionality of equipment.
• Ensure proper cable management.
• Communicate issues, outcomes, needs, and costs weekly.
• Set up new hire accounts; reset passwords as necessary.
