Job summary

HMSHost is hiring a Manager I to assist branch management in QSR or similar restaurant operations. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, staffed, and operating at high standards, using policies to guide decisions.

Responsibilities include opening/closing tasks, supervising associates, participating in hiring, scheduling, and enforcing safety and wellness guidelines, while handling orders and ensuring proper cash handling.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Requires minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per company policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a defined unit.
• Participates in hiring processes and recommends staffing decisions to GM.
• Assigns work tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures all associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods.
• Maintains clean, stocked, and visually appealing display areas and proper equipment operation.
