Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I to assist branch management in executing QSR restaurant operations. The role ensures the restaurant is clean, staffed, and operates to high standards while following company policies.

The MGRI reports to the GM and may work varied schedules across openings and closings. The position requires 2 years in food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service, plus at least 6 months of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, and converse with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures per company policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a defined unit.
• Participates in interviewing and provides input on hiring and promotions.
• Assigns work tasks, prepares schedules and ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures compliance with rest breaks and meal periods.
• Maintains clean display areas and ensures equipment is in good working order.
• Operates cash register and handles transactions per cash handling policies.
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures and reports safety concerns to the GM.
• Understands Health and Safety activities per policy.
• Places orders, receives goods, and processes invoices.
