Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I to support branch management in tactically executing QSR or similar restaurant operations. The role ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and runs to high standards, using established policies to guide decisions.

The position requires 2+ years in food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service, plus 6 months supervisory experience. It involves varied shifts, on-site work, and interaction with customers and team members in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires a minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, and converse comfortably with customers

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures
• Assists the AGM/GM in managing by supervising day-to-day activities of associates within a defined group of restaurants or points-of-sale
• Participates in the interview process, provides input in hiring, recommends termination, advancement, or status changes to the GM
• Assigns work tasks and activities, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are covered
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures and reports safety concerns to the GM
• Places orders for units, receives goods, processes invoices
• Ensures contact information for all associates is up to date
